Oud Candy starts with brown sugar, candy, milk, and nuts, but it doesn't come across as naively sugary. The sweetness is more warm, dark, and slightly melted, with a nutty, creamy texture. White flowers in the heart add some softness but remain subtle. On the skin, the fragrance feels dense, sweetish, and dry – more like caramelized sugar with dark depth than a classic candy gourmand.
In the base, the woody-smoky side clearly takes the lead. Oud, ambroxan, leather, saffron, oakmoss, sandalwood, and cedarwood give the fragrance a dry, dark, and distinctive structure. Caramel and vanilla maintain a sweet warmth in the background without making the scent too pleasing. Outwardly, Oud Candy appears present, edgy, and individual – sweet, woody, rough, and deliberately not mainstream.
