Doux Ennui opens fruitily and seductively: juicy apricot jam and tangy mandarin blend with the exotic softness of ylang-ylang to create a luminous, almost dessert-like opening. At its heart, the fragrance becomes creamier and surprisingly gourmand – salted butter and ripe peach lend the composition a warm, slightly salty sweetness reminiscent of fine French pastries. The base creates a velvety, enveloping foundation of vanilla, amber, benzoin, and musk, giving the fragrance depth and a soft, long-lasting warmth.
